Approval Workflows
Approval Workflows add governance to large-scale launches, ensuring proper oversight.
How It Works
- Configure a threshold (e.g., 20 teams)
- When a launch exceeds the threshold, it’s held for approval
- Designated approvers review and approve/reject
- Once approved, the launch proceeds
Configuration
- Open Settings in the Armada panel
- Enable Approval Required
- Set Threshold: Number of teams that triggers approval
- Add Approvers: Users who can approve launches
Approval Process
When a launch requires approval:
- Creator sees “Pending Approval” status
- Approvers receive notification
- Approver reviews:
- Parent issue details
- Target teams
- Campaign scope
- Approver clicks Approve or Reject
- Creator is notified of decision
Pending Launches
Pending launches are stored until approved:
- Visible to creator and approvers
- Can be cancelled by creator
- Expire after 7 days if not actioned
Best Practices
- Set threshold at 20-30 teams
- Have 2-3 designated approvers
- Document approval criteria
- Review and adjust threshold quarterly
