Armada is available on the Atlassian Marketplace for Jira Cloud.
Prerequisites
- Jira Cloud (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise)
- Site administrator access to install apps
- Projects where you want to launch campaigns
Installation Steps

Visit the Marketplace
Go to the Armada Marketplace listing and click “Get it now”.

Select your site
Choose the Jira Cloud site where you want to install Armada.

Grant permissions
Review and approve the required permissions:
read:jira-work- Read issue datawrite:jira-work- Create and update issuesstorage:app- Store configuration

Verify installation
Open any Jira issue. You should see the “Armada” panel in the issue sidebar.
Post-Installation Setup
After installation, you’ll need to:
- Configure your Fleet - Add teams and their projects
- Set up Governance (optional) - Configure approval thresholds
- Enable Auto-Nudge (optional) - Set up automated reminders

Troubleshooting
”Armada panel not showing”
- Refresh the page
- Check if the app is installed in your site’s “Manage apps” settings
- Verify you have access to the project
”Permission denied”
Armada inherits your Jira permissions. If you can’t create issues in a project, Armada can’t either. Contact your Jira administrator.
Uninstallation
To remove Armada:
- Go to Jira Settings > Apps > Manage apps
- Find “Armada” and click “Uninstall”
